Morning everyone, another fine morning.
So you liked our NEW Wedding ribbons, we thought they were fun too.
You comments have given me several bursts of inspiration.
So I think another wedding playing session is on the cards…..but when.
I did not see any of the little guys yesterday, so no “Bingo” bag today.
Tony and I left the office and headed to Dover.
By the time you read this, we should (fingers crossed) be enjoying a short city break.

It is Bev’s wedding anniversary today
Happy Anniversary Bev and Greg – 10 happy years together.
With all our new wedding ribbons, I really did not think I could get away with buying a card!
So I made this…….
…..AND this is the confetti we threw as they came out of the Church.
(yes I am one of those people that collect little trinkets and keep memory boxes,
you never know when you made need something)
I used the white Happy anniversary ribbon from the new wedding owl collection plus
the Swiss dots ribbon.
Bev likes her dots, so I have joined in with our new challenge starting today
on our challenge blog – the theme is Lets go Spotty with ribbon.
I like it when a plan comes together!!

Good morning to all my hello wednesday readers.
How are you all this fine morning?
I have been up early, sat in the garden enjoying my latest creation.
Do you want to see it…………..warning no ribbon used!
But I did use our wicked dotty buttons in 3 sizes.

These are not any ordinary crochet flowers – I set myself a mission…………………
…..….to teach myself to crochet left handed.
I was hoping it would put less strain on my damaged thumb.
According to Tony I sat with my tongue hanging out, deep in concentration.
My first left handed flower – I was super pleased, but sadly did not reduce the stress on my thumb.
So I have hung up my crochet hook for a while

Morning all, weather still fab here in Dorset.
I have gone and got myself one of those fancy ergo dynamic what not keyboard and mouse.
What a laugh – I was never taught to type at school, I opted to take Physics instead!!
Not sure Physics has really helped me in daily life, but some typing skills would come in handy.
Any way this new keyboard is split into two section, well 3 if you include the number pad.
The keys are all in the same place, but for some reason I can not find them.
So please excuse any typos while I get used to it!
It was really the mouse I wanted, I have a lot of mouse work to do in the next few weeks, and my poorly thumb is already complaining.

Lin used the ribbons from the Sisters Bev’s bag to add decoration to simple white T shirts.
I love the edged sleeves and the large button.
I think these are a such fun Lin, thank you for sharing them with me Lin and allowing me to share them with others.

Morning everyone, oh I do like this weather.
The sun streams into our courtyard in the morning and I just love getting up early and crafting in the garden.
New ribbons always get me inspired and the NEW wedding owls are no exception.
Without you I’m nothing, with you I’m something, together we are EVERYTHING
We have had cake (yes I really did make that just for the owls)
ribbon wands
and yesterday I revamped my Christmas candles, to wedding candles!
How or should that be owl cool are those.
Even better when you upcycle cheese boxes!

I use buttons on my cards and have preferred polka dot patterned ones lately. When I needed a button in a particular color and it didn't have any polka dots on it, I put my own dots on them with my white gel pen. I'd love an assortment of polka dot patterned buttons!! Hugs, Gail

Wave your wands……

Morning girls and boys, isn't it fantastic weather.
Taken the morning off to go and have coffee with the girls.
What a giggle!
We do a lot of giggling at Crafty Ribbons HQ.
Yesterday I had Sydney running around waving my wedding ribbon wands.
She found it so funny that I could not get a picture in focus.
I have seen wedding wands on the internet and they sell for silly prices.
I just adapted mine from the wands I made the children for Halloween.

Just changed the ribbon colours!
I used the narrow grosgrain 6mm, 10mm sheer and the NEW Wedding day ribbons.
We have a new challenging starting today and it’s Anything goes with ribbon.

Percy and Pippa are getting married!
We are so excited.
Pippa chose to get married in Bridal white…..
….but there is also pure white.
We have oodles of ribbon sayings, including the norm like Mr & Mrs, Wedding Day,
Thank You and with love.
But…..
We have some slightly different sayings…….
Without you I am nothing, with you I am something, together we are EVERYTHING,
Mr & Mr and Dreams really do come true.

A little bit later then normal, but I had some artwork that needed finishing.
I got it done on time and it has been given the “thumbs up”.
Phew!
I have been rather busy this week, and not played with a single ribbon all week,
hopefully that will change this weekend, I plan on a little sewing.
But I have added the 25mm Spotty buttons to the website.
So now we stock 4 different sizes.

Mollie is still head over heels in love with it.
I looked after Mollie after school yesterday, so we sat down and I read all your comments
out to her.
Mollie would like KarenB’s daughter to have the bling ribbons. According to Mollie she will enjoy playing with them!
Mollie must feel like the most special girl in the world! What an amazing job you did with the dress and such lovely photographs of her wearing it. As for that bling, I think if it made its way to my house it would subsquently make its way into my daughter's sewing projects!! She loves to sew and she's also a bit of a magpie - anything shiny is fair game!
