It is official…….. Crafty Ribbons count down to Christmas has started!
Our first Christmas ribbon launch is………..
…it is teamed up with…
….and this ribbon…..
…………….any ideas what it turns into?
This stunning Advent Tree.
The number ribbons create little pockets…..
that Christmas treats can be hidden in.
Gold bells are sewn on to the tree branches.
Numbers 1 and 3 are are prezzies under the tree, with their very own matching bow.
How cool is this – a matching label for that extra finishing touch.
You can buy just the ribbons and have fun designing your own tree shape or we have a kit. We have included a tree assembly chart on the pocket ribbons.

The kits contains 40% wool felt for the tree and the star, as well as all the ribbons and gold bells. Full size tree template (which can be used again and again!) and of course easy to follow instructions. You only need a needle, thread, scissors and a small amount of toy stuffing for the star.
This is the first of several designs I will be launching over the next week or so. We would love you to order today………but you may want to add other items to your basket before I have finished!

I hope you enjoy the tree as much as our little guys have. The tree has been hanging in the warehouse for a few weeks, but Mollie has been checking EVERY pocket on a daily basis!!

Cartoon crazy

Have you seen our new collection of Cartoon ribbons?
They have created a lot of excitement.
Firstly little Mollie helped me choose the ribbons for the collection, and then when the delivery arrived….
She came into the warehouse all dressed up as a princess, she was so excited…..
…I let her open all the rolls and measure off 1mtr so that the ribbons could be photographed.
We have lots of different fun cartoon characters…
This is the one Mollie was waiting for.
If you phone the warehouse do ask Rachael about this ribbon…… she can not pronounce Minions!!
This little cheeky monkey caught Alison’s eye.
She made these fantastic cushions….
For her grandsons bedroom, he has a monkey frieze around his bedroom.
I love the little monkey taggy label.

Summer Festival

Hello everyone – it’s Ali I am back!!
I did not plan a blogging holiday, but I sort of got carried away creating.
Boy have I been having fun.
Do you want to see what I have been doing?
Celebrating all things summer from camping
The detail on this ribbon is amazing, down to the little ones washing!
Poor Teddy fell into the sea

No boring white caravans on our campsite!
Our campsite has it’s very own flower meadow
and simple grass…….
for the cows!

Going Dotty…..

Hello everyone, Rachael here again.
We all think we are a bit dotty about ribbons here at Crafty Ribbons warehouse!
To be surrounded with so much ribbon, it is no wonder.
We do still get excited when we spot new ribbons and trims.
This NEW ric rac comes in 13 yummy colours all with white dots.
Slightly padded which gives it a lush feel.
Not all our ribbons are easy to describe……….is this a gingham ribbon or a ruffle?
Well……..it is both.
Pull the 5mm gingham ribbon and the white ribbon gathers to make a smart ruffle.
Different or what?!

For those of you asking after Ali, she is well, but we have had her locked up in her play room for weeks.
We do fed her from time to time!
We may let her out next week for some fresh air, if we do, I am sure she will pop by and say Hi

WOW! Who would not be delighted to have this cake for their birthday.
This cake was made by one of talented Blandford customers.
It is always a delight to see Nicki in the warehouse, we do not always get to see her creations with our ribbons,
so this is a treat.

Hello wednesday–Dolly mixtures

Good morning ribbon followers.
We have a wonderful day here in Dorset, blue sky and little wind.
Makes a pleasant change!
I can only give you a little sneak peek of my latest creation.
I have made it for a certain little girl with blonde curly hair.
But she has not seen it yet, so I do not want to give the game away.
There are 4 of these African Violet crochet flowers, I have sewn Dolly Mixture Flower Buttons here to the centre.
It is all wrapped up ready for the little girl to come and see me this afternoon.
I do hope she likes it.

New beginnings

Not a very inspiring picture you maybe thinking.
But……………….
….this is the start.
Five large A3 sheets of crisp white paper, that will be my NEW Design story boards by the end of today.
Ideas have been whizzing their way around in my head for weeks now, so it is about time I showed the team what is in my head!
Ummm not as easy as it may sound.
