It is Thursday so it is a start of a NEW Challenge.
Karen is still off sick – get better soon Karen.
So I am joining in this week, with my Zentangle card.
With pen, paper a little bit of time I doodled 3 square images.
Added a few buttons and a little 3mm ribbon and a card was born!

Hello all ribbon fans, the sun is shining here in Dorset and looks to be a good day.
Although it is cold in the warehouse and I am typing away in my multi coloured Fagin gloves

The height of fashion you know!
I think I told you that Mollie had asked me to design a ribbon for her mummy.
She tells Rachie she “loves her to the moon and back” every night before bed.
Little Mollie could not wait for the Alien ribbon to arrive from the factory.
She would ask me everyday!
When it arrived, she was so excited to play with the ribbons and made this scrapbook for school.
Her teacher took Rachie to one side and said that Mollie was telling everyone that she had thought of the ribbon.
Ummmm but she did.

These colourful flowers sat on the tables in the Tea Tent at the local May fair.

Hello wednesday–racing car cake

Morning everyone, how are you today?
What a fantastic Bank Holiday weekend, the weather was a delight.
Both my cakes turned out well, although took a lot longer then planned.
This is the cake I made for Bev’s husband Greg,
like Tony he is a bit of a petrol head.
It was also a BIG birthday – (check out the numbers on the racing cars!)
It is the first time I have been able to pick and choose what “boy ribbons” I could use.
The NEW racing car ribbons here were just what I needed.
The 9mm width is perfect for around the cake boards
I have never made anything as fancy as this before, it took me 4 hours!
I had real problems with the car spoilers, they kept flopping.
I was just being impatient and would not allow them to dry.
The cake went down a storm, although Greg was very embarrassed when the restaurant
all sang Happy Birthday to him as the cake was walked to the table.
The best bit………………….it tasted yummy.

Spring mega clear up

Our Rachie is on a mission.
A simple one really………………
…..to make more space in the warehouse!!!
First she attacked the Bargain Ribbon aisle and added these
Yesterday she was working in the ribbon pack aisle
AND did this!!
reduced all the packs to £1
she also did a stock take, so when they are gone…………they are gone.

Not sure I am totally happy leaving Rachie in the warehouse on her own at the moment.
I have no idea what she has planned next!

Morning everyone – guess what it is not raining yet here in Dorset today.
Amazing!
Another one of my drawings today, this time I made it for Mollie.
She wanted a fish. Syd and Sam have fishes you see.

Tony has banned ribbons and buttons from home.
He decided that my play pen (my three seater seetee) had got out of control.
Never!
I was then spending far too much time on my ipad, not good.
All you need for zentangle is paper, pen and pencil……………
…………ummmmmm………….
that's what I started with a few weeks back!
My collection has grown to two drawing pads, several pencils.
All the widths of black pens.
Ooooh and some coloured pencils, and pens and…….
But it is fun and very easy to do.

Phew Rachie had me working hard yesterday, taking lots of pictures.
I have had to charge my camera battery!
