Stitches NEW Ribbons

We have NEW ribbons!

Just a small collection.
I crafted all my Christmas presents last year for the family.
It took me a total of 5 months, I crocheted blankets, made bags and embroidered cushions.
But when I got to the end I realised I did not have suitable ribbon for everyone Crying face

So Handmade with Love was the first ribbon I designed in December!

The little sewing machines would have been perfect to add as tags to the fabric bags I made.

The scissors and cotton reels would have been perfect as well.

Not for me this ribbon – Fait Par Maman = Handmade by Mummy
But I have been asked for it so many times in Paris, I just had to add it to our collection.

Lots to catch up on

Ooooh…………… I knew I had been rather quiet on here, but I did not realise I had been away for so long.

Lets call it writers block! Hopefully you will forgive me.

Have you seen our New ribbons?

This collection is called Colour your Days

It had not been in the warehouse 24hours and I had started to use it!

The pencils were perfect to edge my new Planners “what not”, you know the “thingy” that holds your pens and pencils.

Days of the week added to the zipper, not a fan of Mondays so I chose Tuesday to start my week. My stickers are hidden inside the zipped pocket. I am just a big kid – stickers, pens and pencils Smile

I replaced the boring satin ribbon that came with the planner with the Days of the week Ribbon. Perfect, happy bunny Bunny

Ok, Ok, I know we live not far from the sea, and I should have designed this range ages ago….

We do visit Portland Bill……….often!

Crafty Gnomes

Our DT girls have been busy playing with our new ribbons…….

Kelly made this stunning card with the 25mm gnomes on grass and the 15mm single gnomes. She teamed them up with one of our digi images, what a gnome perfect match!

Who would not feel welcome with Laura’s sign, love the crochet cloud.

Lucy had fun colouring in one of the toppers, he does look naughty poking out the side.

You would feel very special if you received a gift from Marianne, this tag is wicked.

You would always BEE happy if this sat on your desk. A buzzing creation from Laura.

Ever wondered where gnomes go at night? Home to their little houses!

The night house ribbon is made up of some yummy colours, Kate has teamed them up perfectly with her image.

Wonder what Carole is going to keep in her little box.

Spring time in Paris

25/04/2016

I would like to say that Spring is here, but down in Dorset this morning it is soooooo cold.

Oh well, we do not need warm weather to make the flowers bloom around our Town House!

A new colourway has just been finished and can be found on the website here .

It is in muted tones of lilac and purple with matching roses around the door.

We have added French instructions to our Town houses and Rose cottage kits and they now come with both

Handmade by Me Ribbon - 25mm Fait par Moi Ribbon - 25mm

Hand made by Me and Fait par Moi labels in white.

These are ready just in time for our return visit to Paris next week for the DIY show

I am rather excited to be returning to Paris, our two normal shows are in November and February.

Spring time in Paris! Hopefully it will still be daylight when we leave the hall in the evening.

Yes we would love to here from ribbon lovers out there, not just card makers, any other craftiness, altered projects, scrapbooking as long as you use ribbon we would like to see your makes.
Do you love ribbon?
Are you creative with ribbon?
Can you commit to 3-4 creations a month ? and work to deadlines?
Do you like sharing your creations on Facebook or do you have a blog?
A few times over the year it will be necessary to make projects for Crafty Ribbons exhibition stands.

IN RETURN you will receive all the latest ribbon designs before they are launched!
