Something a little bit different from me today.
A gift from the garden...........but before that, let me tell you who todays sponsor is.

But I do have fun playing with ribbon...
......and spray paint, plants and twigs..
I found a large cup and saucer in a charity shop in town.
It did not have a very Christmassy design so I sprayed it silver.
I next raided the garden for a few "artistic" looking twigs, put them together and also sprayed them silver.
Once all dried I added them to my tea cup with a hyacinth bulb (Tonys favourite) to make a Gift from the Garden.
The silver bow uses the multi language Christmas ribbon and the blue let it snow ribbon which is Exclusive to us.
Several people have requested this as their prezzie so it must look good.
Go on get your thinking caps on and use some ribbon.

A little bit of cake goodness today.....not all calorie free, but go on and enjoy

Mandy had a play with some of Katy Sue's cake creating templates.
Firstly she has a small Christmas Cake that is covered in fondant icing and decorated with a plaque made from sugar paste,don't you just love the snowman?....
She used the snowflake design mat to make the side of the cake and finished off with some fondant snowballs covered in edible glitter and some of the fabulous Christmas ribbon from our Exclusive Yummy Christmas Cupcake range

Crafty Advent - day 2

Sydney used my pro markers to write her letters to Santa.
She had so much to tell Santa that she wrote to him twice!
To make sure they made it safely to the North Pole we stuck on lots of stamps.
We used both our stamp ribbons.

To stop the ribbon from fraying just coat both sides of the ribbon with watered down PVA glue.
Hang them up to dry for a couple of hours or overnight.
They will be slightly stiff once dry, but you can cut them with ease.

My first Advent creation is...........
Noel Bunting.
I used red bias binding, felt for the letters and trimmed it with red Basics 2 Go buttons with a few snowflake buttons.
I made it for Rachies fireplace.
My greatest fan (Mollie) told me it looked awesome!

Our little Mollie is 5 today.
Where has the last five years gone?
This was Mollies first appearance on the blog at the Hobbycraft show at the NEC.
We have not seen much of the children on the blog for a while.
Mollie started school in September and I do not get to see her every day.
I have been crafting with Mollie since the time she could hold a pen. She has always had a passion for my Pro Marker pens, she just loves them.
While I was in Paris she face timed me just to ask if she could take my pens home for the weekend.
So my prezzie to her today was her very own box of promarkers.
She was so excited!

Charlotta from our design team sent me these two delightful cards a couple of weeks ago. They use our Exclusive Cupcake Christmas ribbons.
These are delish Charlotta. These ribbons have been so popular we had to go for a mid season re-print. With the added bonus of the Cupcake digi stamps and matching toppers it makes cards so much easier to make. Find this collection here
Thank you Charlotta, Elaine and Laura from our design team for helping out with our Hello wednesday projects for the last few weeks. Sadly, I just have not had the time to craft. Boo hoo.
BUT................now I have a sparkling clean and tidy design room. I wished I had read your comment ealier Laura about the hoover and sock. I spent a good half an hour on my hands and knees picking all the buttons up!
So a tidy room means.........................crafting time.
With our Crafty Advent looming I have lots of creating to do. Yesterday I crafted all day. I started several ideas, machined, stuck, sprayed....(no not telling, you will have to wait for the advent days!). I did all the bulky messy bits in the office and then took the hand sewing work home. There is nothing better then sitting curled up on the sofa, telly on in the back ground, hand sewing away. Although I do get told off for making too much noise sorting buttons!!!
Today I am back crafting again, my sprayed project is now dry so I hope to finish that idea this morning. What next sewing machine or glue gun?

Morning - a bit frosty here in Blandford.
Hoping it will get me into the Christmas spirit, as I have projects to make for the Crafty Advent.
But before I start, I have a task that needs my urgent attention....................
...........my design room!
It looks like a bomb has gone off in it.
The carpet has become a form of stepping stones leading to my desk.
Piles of magazines, new ribbons, you name it all on the floor.
Oh and I must not forget that Tony knocked over a box of buttons a couple of weeks ago and they are still all over the floor.
It must be bad, because I asked Sam to get me something from my room on Friday.
Hhe came dashing down the stairs saying "it was not me!"
Wish me luck with my mammoth task.

We are back!
I am walking around in a slight daze. After two weeks of back to back shows at the NEC and then Paris, my mind is blank. So I have no idea or project for you today - sorry.
We had a fantastic time at both shows. No incidents in Paris this year. The lorry returned to the UK with no break ins! of which we are extremely relieved about. The show itself was very busy, how so many people can group together for the love of crafts still amazes me. I would love to tell you about the show and share pictures of the stands and the displays.
But we were so busy I was unable to get off the stand. For the first time I saw Crafty Ribbons on the ladies shopping lists. Now that is an achievement I am very proud of. Not just ribbons......but Crafty Ribbons.
Thank you to everyone that came and visited us at show this Autumn season, you all made it a record season for us. We do hope you have enjoyed using all your ribbons and buttons. My brain is full of NEW ideas for the Spring - so watch this space!

Today is the first open day of the Paris show, I pre wrote this post last week, so I hope it works!
