Day 8 - Ribbon Advent

I had great fun yesterday making todays Advent card.
Mandy emailed me a "Folder" from our sponsor today ooh La La Creations
Never done this before, well once I had worked out how to open the folder, I can be incredibly slow sometines!
I found pages of artwork, toppers, card inserts, other magic things that you card makers use.
I picked the ones I wanted and simply printed them off onto card.
This is what I made.

I have a ribbon advent idea that I borrowed!
As I mentioned we went to Bath on Tuesday so decided to go to Jamies Itialian for lunch.
They had very simple Christmas trees with reds and baubles plus................
........well no not THESE ones..........I promise I did not steal them from the tree!
Dried oranges slices hung with red and white country check ribbon here.
The trees really did look wicked.

Day 4 - Ribbon Advent

Those that know me may have guessed I am short of a little ribbon mojo at the moment, nothing that a holiday would not put right.
Hint, hint Tony!!
So todays advent inspiration comes from Sydney my 7 year old niece.
It had to be something simple and quick to do as she wanted to make about 30!
Small red cards, some of our Happy Family Christmas ribbons (although she told me she had two cats and no dog!)
and a stapler.
I cut the ribbon to lengths and she folded and stuck the family ribbon down and attached the
"Happy Christmas with love x" with the aid of the stapler.
Simple, job done in under 30minutes.

Little news

Well what a busy few weeks, with Hobbycrafts at the NEC and then the Paris show last week, it has been non stop.
We just did not have any time to update the blog, but we have been working behind the scenes..............
