Day 20 - Ribbon Advent

We are all excited today - it is our last working day before Christmas - Hooray!!

The girls are getting the last Christmas orders out, and any orders received before 1pm will be despatched today.
It has been a very busy season and we have all of you to thank for that

Bev really does come up with some amazing bags. This one looks really fun and romantic. I might win one then I could give it to my husband, but alas he would not have any idea what to do with it. A small gem with 'sent with love' would go down a treat on Valentines instead of (if he remembers) a box of chocolates, which are no good for someone of my size!

Day 19 - Ribbon Advent

Not only do I love ribbon but Iam also very parcial to wrapping paper.
Tony will tell you how I linger and touch rolls of paper!

I have spent ages deciding how to wrap my presents this year,
should I go stylish with big pompom bows,
or rustic with raffia and oranges.

I have so many ribbons to choose from...................

................I decided to go back to basics and FULL ON!

Rather fun for me. Both ribbons are from our Basic 2 Go range,
the lime satin is here and the red grosgrain is here

With a combined cost of 15p per metre I could use as much as I wanted.......and I did!

Day 18 - Ribbon Advent

A week today and it will be Christmas day!! Hooray

To be honest I am not very Christmasssy this year - the DT girls have done such a fantastic job of
making the ribbon advent special, that I have moved onto the New year.

Have you seen todays collection of goodies? They are awesome, from cushions to bells,
cards to bags the girls have thought of everything.

Marianne has not only used our ribbon but also one of our NEW Digi Stamps here,
looks wicked or what!

Mollie is feeling a little under the weather today so mummy (Rachie) had to help out with

Day 14 - Ribbon Advent

Ooooh it's getting close, nearly Christmas.
We are very Christmassy in the warehouse today, it is our Christmas party this afternoon.
We decided to have a tea party so the children could join us.
14 adults and 4 children will all be descending on a local venue......
.......they have no idea what they have let themselves in for!!!

Lots of sandwiches and cakes have been ordered, so lets hope we have loads of fun.

Day 12 - Ribbon Advent

Half way through our ribbon advent, we do hope you are enjoying it.

Todays crafty idea comes from Janet, she made 50 of these little boxes

They were little hand made boxes filled with goodies for her craft group.

Yes she made the boxes then just added the pre tied gold bow. The bows can be found here

A puzzle, a balloon, a choccy and a party popper what more do you need!

Day 11 - Ribbon Advent

Ooooh it is cold today!! I have been waiting to post until the children have come home from school.

Today Sam is performing in his first ever school play.
He came home from school a few weeks back, very excited, he was going to be a toy in the school play.
Bev, thinking that school Navity plays were not like they used to be, asked Sam what the play was called.
His reply was "Two Baby Cheeses"

Bev thought about this for a while, mmmmm strange name for a play - do you mean baby Jesus, Sam!
